Frequently asked questions

What does the license cover?

A single-seller commercial license: one buyer (a person or a company) uses the kit for APIs they sell themselves, on unlimited projects and domains. The docs you publish, the keys you issue and your customer relationships are yours. Reselling or redistributing the kit files themselves is not allowed — each seller needs their own license.

Do I get updates?

Yes — every v1.x update is free. Re-download any time from your download page with your email and password. If a v2.0 ever ships, existing buyers get a clear upgrade path — never a surprise paywall.

What is the refund policy?

If the kit doesn't fit how you work, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — the zip is yours to keep or delete. One refund per purchase; we only ask for optional feedback.

What do I need before buying?

A free Cloudflare account, Node 18+ with wrangler, an API that actually works (this kit is the storefront around it, not the API itself), and a payment link from your own Stripe or Lemon Squeezy. No server-side Stripe keys, no webhook code.

Is billing automated?

Honestly: partially. Checkout runs on your payment link; after a customer pays, you create or top up their key in the owner console — two clicks, no webhook integration to build or maintain. Fully automated provisioning would need a payment webhook, which is deliberately out of scope for v1.

Why not just use Zuplo, Mintlify or a free tool?

Use them if they fit — they are good products. But hosted portals rent monthly, and gateway platforms move your traffic through their edge. This kit exists for the seller who wants docs + keys + metering in one self-hosted lump, for one payment, with the data in their own account.
